Silhouetting

To vignette an object, follow this table:

Action

Prepare the surface of the photograph with Fullers Earth.

Apply a frisket or mask to protect the areas of the image to remain
unaffected.

Airbrush pigment onto the photograph beginning with the four
corners using a light, airy, circular motion.

Continue to rotate the photograph, spraying the four corners one by
one, until the pigment covers the amount of the photograph desired.
Strive to keep the coverage even.

Allow to dry.

Remove the frisket or mask.
7
Clean the desired image area of seepage and soften the edges
around the image to give a more natural effect.
