COLOR CHARTAn arrangement of colors.
COLOR CYCLINGA spectral effect that creates the illusion of movement
on the computer screen.
COLOR DIMENSIONSThe three elements of color: hue, value, and
intensity.
COLOR GRAPHICS ADAPTER BOARDAlso called CGA or a Video
Graphics Adapter (VGA). This IC chip defines the ability of the computer to
execute commands during the creation of artwork in the computer.
COLOR HARMONYA unified or aesthetically pleasing effect produced
by a combination of colors.
COLOR INTERVALThe degree of visual difference between two colors
as measured by hue, value, and intensity.
COLOR KEYThe overall effect of the selected pallette; for instance, a
highkey illustration of light, bright or vibrant color and a lowkey
illustration of dull or monotonous colors.
COLOR NOTATIONThe specification of color by written symbols and
numerals based on an established color system used on sketches for future
reference.
COLOR PROOFAn engravers or printers proof showing the effect of
final color in perfect registration.
COLOR SCALEA series of colors that display a change or gradation in
hue, value, and intensity.
COLOR SCHEMEA group of colors that dominate a picture or create a
unity within it.
