Pagination includes setting the margins, page numbering, andselecting text attributes before entering the data into the document.Pagination saves the extra effort required to rearrange pages later.Onceset, the computer memory retains the format settings and applies it to eachpage of the document without further prompting.If the software allows, display reveal codes (codes indicating selectedfunctions) on the screen as you work by selecting this option from VIEW.This process allows you to see any coding errors made during the creationof the document. Not every software program displays reveal codes.Eliminate unused codes. If you are able to display reveal codes on thescreen, remove erroneous or unused codes.Maintain only requiredcoding in documents to make it easier to edit or modify text later.Unused or incorrect coding in documents affects the amount of controlyou have over the finished product.Do not use the SPACE bar to position text.
