Common Software Features, ContinuedWindowsWindows are enclosed areas on the screen and are called applicationwindows. Within the application window, other open windows display thefile that is currently open, the features available to change the file, thesoftware tools to change the file, and the file itself. Clicking into featuresand options opens windows that contain all the information required to accesssoftware applications. Multiple windows can appear side-by-side, madesmaller or larger, or be temporarily placed elsewhere on the screen untilrequired.Program andfile nameA window called a title bar, usually located across the top of the screen,displays the name of the software program and the particular file currentlyopen.
